Massage therapy is a therapeutic practice that involves the manual manipulation of soft tissues—such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues—to promote physical and mental well-being. Skilled practitioners apply various techniques, including kneading, stroking, and applying pressure, to alleviate pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, and enhance overall health.

In Ontario, massage therapy is regulated, and only individuals who have completed accredited education and certification programs are authorized to practice as Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs). These regulated healthcare professionals are trained to assess and treat a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain and muscle tension to stress-related disorders, making massage therapy a valuable component of integrative healthcare

Brian Clelland RMT

Brian Clelland RMT is a seasoned Registered Massage Therapist. He offers a range of therapeutic services, including deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, fascial stretch therapy, acupressure, and aromatherapy. Additionally, he provides home care guidance such as stretches and remedial exercises to support injury recovery and prevent future issues

Brian graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and completed the Ontario Board exams in 2005. His extensive experience includes working at a sub-acute hospital in Toronto from 2010 to 2022, focusing on rehabilitation and palliative care. Prior to his hospital work, he was employed at Mayfair tennis clubs and at the Holt Renfrew and Miraj Hammam spas .
